I'm having to back fill this post as I was busy with breaking my code for publishing the site.
I thought I give this vibe coding malarkey a go, and tried making a simple site to record my weight and then show a few graphs of the data over time it sucked I let the AI take the lead and it got it's self into a doom loop that no matter how I tried to explain to it that the code it had produced was causing an error that stopped the project from compiling it just could not come up with a way to fix it. In the end I looked at the code it had produced and thought "ya know what, this is sh!t, I will not maintain it" and I scrapped the whole thing. A day wasted to find out what I already thought which is AI is only good for quick answers and boiler plate code. It can't make a complete product from scratch.
Out of the blue, the other week I was contacted by an old school friend who knew mum, she was his social worker. I'd met him independently through some friends in common. He got in touch to send his condolences at mums passing which was nice and we started chatting on WhatsApp, It's like no time has passed and it's been a great blast form the past catching up. He has the same dry sense of humour as me, which can get dark quick but I know I don't have to apologise for it 😈🤬🤡
This weeks Film series is the Fox X-men series, mainly because it's been a good long while since I'd made time to watch them all, I still only managed to get through five of them this week
The only other film we watched was the new version of The Crow (2024) not gonna lie I loved the original(The Crow (1994)) when it came out back in the day and I enjoyed the second one(The Crow: City of Angels (1996)) so much so I bought the soundtrack and played it on repeat for a long time. The new one was great and they really filled in Eric' backstory as to why he was brought back and the ending was a reasonable way to sidestep the fridging trope the story is born from.
This was a week of Live at the Apollo (2004) when I wasn't watching films
On the drive back from the funeral the week before I realised I'd never listened to Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose I have now and it wasn't worth it.
I really need to stay on top of these posts, Stay Lucky.
