So it's time to replace my computer
I've had this computer for about 10 years. It was good when I got it.

Since I bought it I've added a 128GB 2.5" SSD, an extra 1 x 8BG of RAM and changed out the RGB fans for some quieter ones.
But since Valve killed off Counter Strike: Global Offensive, replacing it with Counter Strike 2, which I've been unable to play, I've been thinking that maybe I should think about possibly getting a new system.
Is it broken?
In a word, no, it's fine for blogging and I can even write code on it. It plays streaming video fine, and I can still play Golf with Friends. I can do everything just fine. I'm not young enough to be impatient about how long it takes to do things and my eye sight is just knackered enough that it's not worth going above 1080p.
Damn you Linux Mint for making what is undoubtedly a very old system perfectly usable far beyond when I should have updated it.
So I'm just doing this for one game? Not exactly, I have a slew of games that I just stopped playing or couldn't get into because my system couldn't run them fast enough to be playable. Not being able to play a game I was sort of good at and played with my Friday night friends was the last straw.
How low can you go?
I can't afford a bleeding edge system, so I've ordered the most I can for a complete system. Feel free to contact me and tell me just how rubbish this set-up is🖥️🤑🕹️
