📓 Notes

Tim Carmody wrote a piece earlier in the week titled HTML Is Actually a Programming Language. Fight Me. I'm fairly sure he wrote it as a way to get people to be mad at him. I disagree with his assessment, not enough to fight him over it, but enough to mention it here.

🎞️ Films

I have a long-standing affection for Nick Frost, since he and Simon Pegg did Spaced. So as soon as I saw Svalta(Original title: Get Away) come up on SKY I knew I was going to watch it. Didn't know anything about it just saw Nick and SOLD! It starts out as a typical horror flick set up then about two thirds of the way in shit goes sideways in the best possible way. 🤣

Continued with watching the Star Wars films still enjoying them. 🙂

📺 TV

We've been watching Smallville in the evenings off and on for a few months now and just finished Season 3. It's proving to be the good enough time filler distraction it was always supposed to be.

🎧 Music

Had a desire to listen to albums from yesteryear and just revel in the nostalgia of some good vibes Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell by Meat Loaf & Dummy by Portishead.

Which reminded me, I've been meaning to add more music I used to listen to into my regular rotation, like L7 or Emilie Autumn. My hopes were that Spotify would give me some new stuff to listen to. It didn't, but Last.fm managed to recommend Inside Out by Eve 6, Shepherd Of Fire by Avenged Sevenfold & Stoopid by Snot which put me in mind of Metallica St. Anger.
