I’ve been working hard on my new application đ¤
If you’re reading this on the site, then you should be looking at a new layout đ
If you’re reading this on RSS, firstly thank you, secondly I think the changes may have flooded you reader with all my posts again, I am sorry for that, but I’m hoping it should be a one off.
So yeah, had a very productive week working on what I’m now calling v0.01 of my SSG that should be replacing Hugo.
And now I can start working on the next version… what? You didn’t think I was just going to leave it at that…? No I’m going to be tinkering with this forever.
I still need to…
- Finish the styling for the site
- Add command line options so I can auto push to the production server not just my UAT server
- Add a proper templating engine
- I’d like to add an importer for all the take out data dumps I got before I closed my social media accounts
- Add some form of respectful site counter, no user tracking just page counts.
Eventually I’d like to make it a full on POSSE set-up but that’s a far off dream at the moment. lets just keep it small and see where the mood takes me đ

Another quite week in the toot-a-verse because I was busy.
đď¸ Films⌗
Watched Shaun of the Dead (2004) because it’s one of my absolute favourite films ever. I did want to watch Vantage Point (2008) but for some reason the copy I have doesn’t work streaming from Jellyfin but does if I play it from my desktop I might have to dig out the DVD and see if a fresh rip will fix it.
đş TV⌗
- Watched the season finale of Death in Paradise I still think it’s cool.
- Finished watching Marvel’s Daredevil so we can now watch Daredevil: Born Again but there are a few other things in the back log to watch first.
- Reacher - Season 3 (2025), done in 2 nights now I have to wait until next year for more đ
- LOL: Last One Laughing UK (2025) There is something satisfying about watching stand-up comedians trying to make each other laugh without cracking themselves up, and the end with Bob Mortimer telling Richard Ayoade joke after joke until he breaks was a special kind of funny.
đ§ Music⌗
Been listening to some of my spotify playlists because it’s just easy and I don’t have even half of the tracks on CD yet.
I haz code, Stay Lucky.
